Gocemos del arco\u00edris! <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/2022\/02\/06\/las-vidas-secretas-del-color\/\">Pat Sloan<\/a> a comienzos del 2022 se le ocurri\u00f3 una genial idea: Hacer del Libro <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/2022\/02\/06\/las-vidas-secretas-del-color\/\">\u00bb La vida secreta de los colores \u00ab<\/a> de la autora Kassia St. Clair un Quilt Along o como ser\u00eda en espa\u00f1ol \u00abCose conmigo\u00bb distribuyendo cada color y cada lectura en un d\u00eda determinado del a\u00f1o, as\u00ed conocer\u00edas la historia del color que estas cosiendo y har\u00edas un Churn Dash Block con una tela del mismo tono. Con ese plan no cost\u00f3 mucho que me dieran ganas de sumarme a la idea; el tema es que para hacerlo se requieren muchos colores, y teniendo un presupuesto acotado y para hacer un desaf\u00edo prefer\u00ed hacerlo con lo que ya ten\u00eda en casa.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-3-inch.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"848\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-3-inch.jpg 848w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-3-inch-254x300.jpg 254w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-3-inch-768x906.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-3-inch-585x690.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00bfEl resultado? estos hermosos blocks que les dejo en el video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Blocks for The Secret Life of Colors Quilt Along (Final)\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pJLsG1SPCFY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>La experiencia fue grat\u00edsima pero tambi\u00e9n descubr\u00ed muchas cosas con respecto a la costura: No da lo mismo cualquier algod\u00f3n para hacer patchwork, muchas veces la manera de coser de una persona ser\u00e1 muy distinta a la que cosa otra, como les he escrito antes 1\/4 de pulgada de una m\u00e1quina de coser es muy distinta a la de otro y un sin fin de bemoles que encontr\u00e9 en el camino; pero el principal fue la tela&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3770\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta-1024x778.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"778\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta-1024x778.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta-300x228.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta-768x583.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta-1170x888.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta-585x444.jpg 585w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/tela-distinta.jpg 1317w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Me gaste muy poco de todos los colores, si tengo que ser correcta teniendo un Charm Pack o varios cuadrados de 5 x5 pulgadas est\u00e1n muy listas para hacer cada \u00e1rea de tonalidad sugerida en el libro, el tema en cuestion aqui es el fondo, el color que se va a repetir una y otra vez en cada uno de los blocks, seg\u00fan lo sugerido en el Quilt pod\u00edan ser restos de tela de cualquier color o de un solo color si repetiamos el block de un solo color una y otra vez y aqu\u00ed vino mi \u00abgenial\u00bb idea&#8230; todo ser\u00eda blanco por que seg\u00fan yo tenia lo suficiente en gamas de blanco, blanco hueso y blanco sobre blanco para hacerlo , entre toda mi tela de algod\u00f3n&#8230;.error.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3769\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-final.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"908\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-final.jpg 908w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-final-272x300.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-final-768x846.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Blocks-final-585x644.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 908px) 100vw, 908px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>No solo no ten\u00edan la misma consistencia (tramados de hilo distintos) si no que tambi\u00e9n no eran de la misma marca de tela, y por lo tanto al usar apresto y coser simplemente todos sal\u00edan de medidas distintas, por que la consistencia de la tela era distinta. Cost\u00f3 montones aprend\u00ed que cosiendo m\u00e1s grande la pieza del color de fondo y cort\u00e1ndola a la medida exacta despu\u00e9s tu exactitud aumenta, que el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatquartershop.com\/nsearch\/?q=triangle+paper\">triangle paper<\/a> es un invento genial de Fat Quarter Shop y funciona siempre que cosas con el ancho de puntada 1.5 y que tu costura vaya exactamente en el medio del \u00e1rea propuesta, y que realmente ahorras tiempo.\u00a0 Y otra cosa muy importante la crea de s\u00e1bana 100% algod\u00f3n se deforma tanto que hace imposible usarla, y menos si es 80% algod\u00f3n y 20% poli\u00e9ster, ese tipo de tela es un gran NO NO, cuando se trata de Patchwork y en el rango amarillo&#8230;uf sufr\u00ed, pero lo logr\u00e9 los 75 blocks listos para unir.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3771\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/blocks-en-mano.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/blocks-en-mano.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/blocks-en-mano-216x300.jpg 216w, https:\/\/www.geny.cl\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/blocks-en-mano-585x813.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Les dejo fotos de mis blocks listos para armar el top&#8230;.Challenge Complete!
